HBO to Expand Game of Thrones Retail Products

HBO has selected Bradford Licensing to take charge of the international expansion of their Game of Thrones retail products.  No word yet on what types of products will be offered at retail locations but you can probably expect officially licensed action figures, card games and other toys to make their way to retail locations and specialty shops near you.  Either way the floodgates might just open for any number of GoT products to hit the market.  The world could use a bit more Westeros!

Game of Thrones is based on A Song of Ice and Fire, one of the most successful fantasy series ever selling over 15 million books (and climbing) worldwide.

The HBO series – which debuted in spring 2011 – is one of the network’s most popular programmes and also gathered 13 Emmy nominations.

CUAUHTÉMOC MOCTEZUMA AND BRADFORD LICENSING SIGN PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

Monterrey, N.L., March 31, 2011. – Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma (CM), recognized as the most innovative brewery and the one with the longest track record and tradition in Mexico, announced today the partnership agreement with Bradford Licensing, after reviewing credentials of twelve different agencies.

Bradford Licensing was chosen as they understand CM’s goal to differentiate strategies for each of the brands and has the expertise and experience to develop and implement the program in the US and later on, globally.

CM’s licensing program is part of the brands’ marketing mix which aims not only to strengthen consumer engagement by offering them products of premium quality, superb design and high value, but also to contribute to brand equity building.

A true ‘Happy House’ in Central and South America

(Montclair, New Jersey – December 8, 2010) – A recent trip to Central and South America proved to be a beneficial experience for not only Bradford Licensing, but also the Happy House brand. Happy House, full of playful illustrations with bright, lively colors, brings smiles to the face of its consumers.  Tiffany Manuell, owner of Happy House, and Bradford’s designer Romina Puckett were able to find inspiration and potential growth opportunities for the brand when taking time to visit the different areas of Central and South America guided by local subagent CPL.

Ms. Manuell  says, “The trip was overall very beneficial with good timing. For countries that base a lot on relationships and communication, it was a fantastic experience and a great start to broadening existing deals as well as opening new ones.” She continues on to say, “I will endeavor to continue down this track over the next couple of years. I strongly believe it’s worth the effort and hard work.  The time is right now to promote Happy House so better make hay whilst the sun shines!”

Throughout the trip Tiffany and Romina were able to meet with CPL’s team, many current licensees, as well as potential new partnerships to add to the program The experience proved to be not only valuable but also inspiring for new product categories and direct to retail opportunities

“Our time spent in shopping centers and local areas were really beneficial for inspiration,” says Romina Puckett of Bradford Licensing, “We were excited to meet with our existing licensees for a chance to see them in action and came away from the trip with a strong belief in the potential Happy House has so close at hand.”

This trip was just the first step towards a bigger and better Happy House. The future holds opportunity to branch out into the teen as well as the university market in hopes to reach a new demographic for customers. This journey will prove that a big house is, of course, a Happy House!

A Celebration Exclusively Scented; Officially Beverly Hills

(Montclair, New Jersey – October 20, 2010) – With the ever growing need for the masses to reach the status of elite, Bradford Licensing has brought together the city of Beverly Hills along with the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and JT Brands to bring consumers one step closer to reaching their goal. As of October 12, 2010 the city has released their three branded fragrances: Rodeo Dr., Iconic, and Must Have. The launch took place at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills and was attended by some of the City’s most prestigious community members.

Mayor Jimmy Delshad, along with the board from the City Council and Chamber of Commerce, extended their passion for the fragrances to residents of Beverly Hills, potential licensees, and others interested in being part of the experience. As in keeping with the theme of elegance and class, perfumes were on constant display at the event with their own tables for viewing as well as multiple models presenting the fragrances to attendees throughout the night. A special gift box, including test samples of each of the three perfumes and a gift card for their favorite one, was given to those present to take home for further indulgence as a ‘Thank You’ from the city of Beverly Hills.

The night was a success as the mansion was filled with high energy and excitement with the first step in the branding of Beverly Hills complete. “The success of Beverly Hills ‘Shield’ women’s fragrance launch was a testament to the time and energy put into this license.  Over the past two years, JT Brands has been hard at work developing a product that would accurately portray the true essence of Beverly Hills to the public and we all agree they hit the mark perfectly with the first perfume to hit the marketplace!  Now we can look forward to the men’s collection,” says Michelle Minieri, President & CEO of Bradford Licensing LLC.
